The deal, in plain terms.

The agreement

These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and TrackMyCodes. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

Your license

A paid license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TrackMyCodes on machines you own or control. Two options:

• Annual — $29/yr. Use the app while your subscription is active, or within the local offline grace window.
• Lifetime — $49 once. A single payment that never expires and includes all future updates.

Your license key (tmc_…) is personal to you. Please don't share, resell, or publish it.

Billing & renewals

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe handles checkout, payment methods, invoices, and the customer billing portal. Where configured, Stripe Tax calculates applicable tax at checkout.

• Annual subscriptions require payment at checkout, then renew automatically each year until cancelled.
• The lifetime license is a one-time charge with nothing to renew.
• Manage payment details, invoices, and cancellation from the Stripe customer portal.

Cancellation & refunds

You can cancel an annual subscription anytime in the customer portal; it stays active until the end of the paid period and does not renew. Refund requests are handled case by case — reach out via the support page and we'll do right by you.

Acceptable use

Use TrackMyCodes lawfully and as intended. You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, tamper with, or circumvent license checks.
• Share, resell, or sublicense your license key.
• Falsify or manipulate tracked activity to misrepresent it.
• Use the app to violate the rights of others or any applicable law.

Your data

TrackMyCodes is local-first: your activity data is stored on your Mac and is yours to export or delete at any time. You're responsible for your own backups and deletion choices. See the privacy policy for exactly what's stored locally versus on our hosted service.

Availability & offline grace

License validation and update checks depend on our hosted services, which we aim to keep available but don't guarantee uninterrupted. To keep you working during temporary connectivity issues, an active license keeps tracking offline for a grace window after its last successful refresh — 14 days on annual, 30 days on lifetime.

Warranty & liability

TrackMyCodes is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the prior 12 months.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new "updated" date. Continuing to use the app after changes means you accept the revised terms.
